Seventh Period

Students attend class from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Seventh period refers to the time from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, when students in 6th through 10th grade receive additional instruction.

Each Friday students bring home progress reports for the week. If a student scores lower than 75%, a C, in any class, that student is required to attend seventh period during the next week to work with teachers and other students to do whatever is necessary to raise that grade.

Seventh period is also a time for students to meet with teachers in any class where they might have a concern, even if their scores are above a 75. When the goal is to be prepared for and accepted by a selective college or university, students quickly understand the importance of achieving high grades in all their classes.
